Before cancer...I took for granted that I had my children with me.
After cancer...I know that nothing is guaranteed.
Before cancer...I "knew" I had my whole life ahead of me to do the things I want to do.
After cancer...I know everything can be lost in on second.
Before cancer...I believed what doctors told me.
After cancer....I know to second guess anything that doesn't feel right to me and to ask LOTS of questions.
Before cancer...I let people walk all over me.
After cancer...I know I can stand up for myself and what I believe in.
Before cancer...there were times I resented my children over things that were not their fault.
After cancer...I know how lucky I am just to spend one day with them.
Before cancer...I thought their were no good people out there anymore.
After cancer...thanks to chemoangels and hugs and hope I know thier are lots of people out there who care.

There are also bad things after cancer, and more good. Cancer changes your life forever, no matter what the outcome is. Whether it is remission or an earthly life is lost and a heaven gains a new angel. I ask God every night why He chose my baby and that will be the first question I ask when I face Him on my judgement day. All I know is my little girl must have been special and He must have needed her really bad to have taken her so soon. Out of everything bad something good does happen even though it is hard to see at times. I wish I never had to go through this but I learned lessons that I would not have been able to learn any other way. I have NO regrets as far as Kaitlyn is concerned she knew I loved her and I know she loved me and that is what counts....
