This caring group of volunteers spends a great deal of time and effort brightening up the lives of children battling serious illnesses. Through my involvement with Hugs and Hope I have a new awareness of what these children and the people who love them are facing. This page is dedicated to these little angels and their families. God bless you all...
I wish for you . . . Comfort on difficult days, Smiles when sadness intrudes, Rainbows to follow the clouds, Laughter to kiss your lips, Sunsets to warm your heart Gentle hugs when spirits sag, Friendships to brighten your being, Beauty for your eyes to see, Confidence for when you doubt, Faith so that you can believe, Courage to know yourself, Patience to accept the truth, And love to complete your life. ~ author unkown ~
Before cancer...I took for
granted that I had my children with me.
There are also bad things after cancer, and more good. Cancer changes your life forever, no matter what the outcome is. Whether it is remission or an earthly life is lost and a heaven gains a new angel. I ask God every night why He chose my baby and that will be the first question I ask when I face Him on my judgement day. All I know is my little girl must have been special and He must have needed her really bad to have taken her so soon. Out of everything bad something good does happen even though it is hard to see at times. I wish I never had to go through this but I learned lessons that I would not have been able to learn any other way. I have NO regrets as far as Kaitlyn is concerned she knew I loved her and I know she loved me and that is what counts.... Written by Donnell
