~ The Story of Echo ~

There was in Heaven, a little angel named Echo.....
a little bit shy and a whole lot curious,
Echo was an angel who loved to sing.
She could capture the beauty
that surrounded the Heavens and the Earth
and deliver God's precious love
without ever spreading her wings.
All of the other Heavenly Angels loved
Echo's soft sweet voice as it sailed through the air
from cloud to mountain, from heart to soul,
Echo's beautiful voice was a joy they all shared.
Echo adored her angel friends and she also loved
deeply the Lord who watched over them all.
And just as much as she loved them,
they too loved Echo very very much.
Wisdom smiled down to Echo,
"We need you to sing the glory of His Love.
Your job is MOST important!
You, my sweet little angel, have the job of
spreading the song of God's eternal love!"
Echo suddenly realized what a very important job she had!
Her smiled beamed up at Wisdom
and she hugged her dear friend very very hard.
Thank you Wisdom, I love you!
And with that, Wisdom smiled and took Echo
by the hand and Echo began to sing and sing and sing!
Back to the angels they headed with Echo's voice so sweet
and loud, they took flight back home on swift happy wings.
Echo is still singing God's message.
She can be heard so very honest and clear.
Her sweet voice travels from the Heavens
to earth to mountain to the meadow
and straight from the heart
all the way to our soul.
Little Echo found her very important job.
It is singing God's message of eternal Love,
the most important song,
we, here on earth will ever know.
